*The Day-to-Day

  • Welcome and/or acknowledge each guest with a warm smile, maintained eye-contact, and a friendly, appropriate greeting;
  • Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in
    • Review all arrivals noting any special requests or challenges,
    • Assess whether any guest relocation will be necessary,
    • Inspect all VIP arrival rooms;
  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure resolve of guest concerns;
  • Examine daily duties, assign tasks and check on progress;
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions;
  • Liaise with other departments to provide an overall comfortable guest experience;
  • Ensure all guests receive personalized services.

Needed to be successful in this position

  • Highest attention to detail, timeliness on projects and professional conduct.
  • Prior experience in similar position.
  • Strong organizational skill-set.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior experience preferred. A two-year degree or equivalency preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
